Start Job - EAD - Card Production Ordered

I have a job offer in my hands, but I need to join on EAD. I applied for EAD 1months 10 days back, and the current status says "Card production Ordered". I am really interseted in joining this company. So can I join this new company without physical EAD Card in my hands, or can I use I-765 approval notice for taking up the job?

The new employer wants the start date as soon as possible.

It is your call as if card has been ordered it should be with you within 4-5 days.
