I am on H1B as a Software Engineer in USA. My friend in India owns a business and he wants to start one in USA. This will not be related to IT. He wants me to take care of this business. I have the follwing questions:
1. Can I be a partner in the USA business and get a salary for the work and not a share of the profits?

2. Can I be a partner in the India business and not in the USA business and work for the USA business for a salary and also earn a profit out of the India business?
