Hi,
I am a software engineer holding a H-1B Visa.
I would like to know if it is legal for me to start a business while I am working on a H-1B Visa.
I will work as usual (40+ hours per week) for my regular employee; but would like to start a business too. Are there any bindings for doing business along with the regular jobs for h-1B Visa holders.
If it is legal, is it risky if my employee gets know about my secondary business.
Can I own a company in India while working as an employee in another company in USA; and show the business transaction of my company in India (e.g. it delivers software to a few clients in USA) in my yearly tax statement.
