I don't think there is any logic on why "RFE for Updated Employment" is being issued.
I have worked for the same company for the last 4.5 years or so and yet received the RFE asking for Updated Employment letter.

One of the reasons I think that they request an updated employment letter is to make sure that you are still getting paid more than the state's poverty limit.
In this economy, many companies retain employees after massive paycuts.
Off course there might be other reasons as well

if ur logic is correct, they should be issuing RFE for everyone ( the economy reason applies to everyone).

I have speculated about a theory for RFE in one of the previous threads started by me. No one has replied to that.

If anyone gets a change, can take a glance at it and pass on comments/experiences.
