Stamping with Expired I-94?

My husband's H1 (I-94) is expired for quite sometime now, I am the primary applicant for GC, will it cause any problems when we go for I-551 stamping??

No. Under AOS your legal status is always maintained unless you leave the country w/o AP / valid VISA.
