which of the BCIS is better SAN JOSE or SAN FRANCISCO ??

I have to go for restamping ? No Plastic green card Yet.

San francisco .. better places to eat there ..

just kidding .. do you really have a choice? Coz I know for EAD u gotta go to a particular office .. maybe GC stamping is different.

The first the INS officer at the door ask in SJ is where you live... if not in the counties served there.. no entrance.. then there's second one, who ask you the same question again.. you could lie to both of them.. completely up to you
 
where does the approval notice says u should go ? Go there and just end the ordeal I cant understand why u r still thinking of it.
 
actually, one lady in front me, told the first two IIO that she lived in SJ... but for the third one.. the one that was gonna actually do her iEAD.. checked her documents and she actually lived in Los Altos.. (very expensive area)... she ended getting away with it....

ps it might have helped that she was white ... I think that if there's one place where that helps.. that's INS..
 
IT is RE-Stamping

My lawyer told me for Re-Stamping you can go to any centre.
It has been almost a year after 485 stamping at LA centre
I have not got my plastic green card.

There is one more fight for plastic green card ID even after you are approved & stamped.
