Stamping photo question

My 485 was approved on 10/14/04. Notice received today.
I am planning to go for stamping on Friday to Federal Plaza.
Approval notice says to bring three-quater frontal photos. But New CIS standard supposed to be frontal photos.
As per other postings I am going without InfoPass.

Can anyone please post recent stamping experience.

According to a friend of mine who got his stamping done two weeks ago at Newark, two frontal photos required.

You need to take 2 passport(frontal) photographs for stamping. Ignore what is said on the approval. They still have old message. Also you need to take an INFOPASS appointment.

Thanks for the replies. I will take both type of photos to be safe.
According to following thread Infopass is not needed for NY.
