Stamping on the same day of interview?

Yes please if anyone has inputs..it will be much appreciated. I have a interview scheduled in Newark couple of weeks from now and would like to know what the current trend is.

I heard that local offices stopped doing stamping on the same day of interview. After the interview local office recommend to VSC
to approve/not approve the applicant's I-485.

When is your interview scheduled ? I know yours is in this month. I am eagerly tracking the developments of yours/other similar cases in Boston INS. I have my interview scheduled on Aug-5th at Boston.
