Hello All,

I am here with a situation, which i dont know how much grave or important. plz. advice me on this...

I am going to stamp my VISA in my home country next month, and i have to give my current address in US on form 156. Now i am living/sharing apartment with a friend in here (in US), and i am not on lease. I was also denied lease in this current place when i approached for one (coz i was late in paying two installments at a previous place within 6 months - which was not my fault, i just forgot twice and they never mentioned that it reflects in the rental history). So will this fact affect me in any way, when i go for VISA stamping outside US (in my home country)

Also, i do not have any credit history, coz i never applied for any major credit card ever. I bought an old car on cash payment and never made any big credit purchase...

I am all ok otherwise, never been out of status or anything - beautifull good record.

Plz. advice this is urgent.

Thanks a lot, in advance.

did you file AR11 (change of address) to the INS ? if not do it.
you are ok.
Consulate doesnot check your credit or rental history.

wat is form I-20A/B

Thank !!! Also, wat is form I-20A/B. I have with me filled up: DS-156, 157 & I-797, I-129 & ETA - 9035

Also, wat exactly is form AR11? I have one form which is for informing INS about change of Address of Alien, is that wat you are talking about? (it has one big A printed in the form somewhere in middle and has space for alien card no. too)

Do i need anything else in addition?

Thank you,
