Stamping of Green Card required ?

Hi All,
I have a question once 485 is approved is stamping on passport is required ??? Few people are stamping GC on passport and some are not ..

Can some body plese tell me is it required to get it stamped ??

The passport stamp is when there is a delay in getting your green card.

The USCIS has been getting cards printed very quickly and it's my understanding they aren't doing the passport stamping anymore.

No stamping needed unless you hhave travel plans that can't wait for GC (card). You just need to schedule thru infopass bring your approval notice and they will stamp it.
 
No, it's not required unless you have imminent travel plan. In fact, due to the much faster card production nowadays, many USCIS local offices will not stamp your passport unless you can show some compelling reasons.
