I am posting for a friend of mine. Please help.
He has a got a Masters(F1) from US. and now he is a Canadian Permanent Resident. He went back to India in the year 2001. Entered Canada in the year 2003. From 2001 to 2003 he did some freelance work in his profession in India.
Right now he has got a job in US and the company has done his H1b for which he will be going for stamping in Toronto in January.
I have the following questions.
a) He has worked in India as a freelance consultant but does not any have paystubs (got misplaced). But does have
employment letters from the company he has worked for. Prior to that he worked for a US company On OPT for few months. And for this company also he does not have paystubs( again misplaced), however he has his W2 tax return papers.Not having paystubs, will it have any impact for H1b Stamping????
b) While he was in canada, He did not get any permanent job in his professional field. However he was doing part-time jobs.
He is not claiming experience for the duration he stayed in Canada. Will this have any impact??
c) His family members are in India and other countries but not in Canada. What ties can he show to prove the authorities
that he is planning to get back to Toronto after his H1b expires. And also what exactly does "ONE HAS TO SHOW TIES IN CANADA MEAN"???
d) Is there any limit on the bank balance he has to show.....
