Stamping in Orlando

Friends,

Left the house this moring at 6.30 with my wife and my 4 year old to get our passport stamping done. Arrived at the Orlando USCIS office (Tradeport Drive) at 8.10. There was no line. In fact there were only about 20 people in total in the building, including the immigration officers and security.

And then of course.... we were told that we need an appointment !!!!
How the hell was I to know that ????
It doesn't say that on the approval notice. Apparently, they don't see anyone without an appointment.

Took a bloody day off from work, kept my boy from school, drove 50 miles, and then this.

I guess I'm just so ticked off.

Made appointment online for next Friday. Hopefully things will go better.

To fellow comrads who are still waiting, be strong and may your wait come to an end real soon. God Bless.

Can't expect better things from these tsc (the stupid center) notices.

I had to do a 350 mile trip and take a day off my vacation, to just confirm FPs were received when their messed up system churned out 2 duplicate FP messages. No number to call to verify.

I think CIS needs a thorough overhaul top to bottom.

I think we all should ask for punitive damages from CIS in our lawsuit...

In few posts from members who live in FL, posted that they did online appointment and also provided website info.
