My wife and I went to Charlotte getting our passport stamped this Tuesday. It was a pretty pleasent experience. Here is the journey:
4:45 AM--- Leave for Charlotte from Raleigh
7:15 AM--- Arrive, there were 27 people infront of us
7:45 AM--- Get into the building
8:30 AM--- Our number get called, we were in separate window
8:50 AM--- Done
11:45 AM-- Back to Raleigh, got into traffic on the way back
Several tips:
1. Separate your material if you have more than on application
2. Direction in Mapquest was wrong, only good for get into Charlotte, after you merge into 77, follow the direction on UCIS website
3. No food and drink allowed inside the INS building, but baby stuff is OK
4. No cell phone, you'd better turn it off.
