Stamping Experiences in Newark-NJ <> wed.

Guys,

I have already read some experiences posted earlier, but I am looking specifically stamping experience on the days other than wednesdays.

Just yesterday I received approval notices in mail. I need some advice
on if I try to go tomorow to Newark NJ for stamping. First of all can we go
on other days too ?

do kids need a ADIT styled pics ? but it is not mentioned in approval notice to bring pics. ?

Really appreciate some advices on these.

We need to Change SSn Card because now it says Only for Work Permit
Where can we submit SSn for Change !!!

It is safer to take all current and old EADs and APs, just in case officer asks us to surrender, once we get stamping I think SSN is no big deal. we can go to local SSN office and submit for a change or find out at that office the exact procedure to do that.

But somebody give me this non-wednesday stamping experience.

I am also wondering if I have to take the pictures for my kids ?
 
Depending on Kids age and whether they got welcome letter/approval letter, you may/may not need pictures. Also you can try going on a different day, but ususally on Wednesday, only people with approval/interview letters will be allowed, hence less crowd.
 
I took my current EADs (iEAD & EAD) and current AP (3copies). I gave only those.

For my wife (EAD expired in mar2003), we gave only AP(3copies, one with parole stamp), when they asked specifically for EAD, told IIO it was expired last year and we do not have it. He said its ok.

You can carry it all expired ones as well, it does not hurt having additional docs. In fact my last expired EAD was taken by IIO when I went for interim EAD @ newark.

I heard that SSA office in the same building in newark, after stamping you can go there and try changing it.

I am not sure whether they let you on any other day other than wed 8 to 12. Securities checked my approval notice and let me in.

I think Saturday it will be closed. Only (ASC) finger printing works on saturday which is a different building in commerce st (and it is contracted, USCIS employees does not do it).
