Strange Stamping Experience

Hello Friends,

We went for stamping a few days ago, some how my wife was not asked for finger prints of her index finger.

I got my card yesterday, but did not receive her card.

How should I find out, what is going on?

I suspect a screw up.

I understand that the sole reason all family members immigrating to the U.S need to go for passport stamping is so that the officer can compare their face and fingerprint prior to submitting the final paper for plastic card issue. Otherwise they could as well mail us the plastic cards on 495 approval.

I WOULD SUGGEST YOU AND YOUR WIFE GO BACK ASAP AND TELL THEM WHAT HAPPENED. ATLANTA WAS VERY HELPFUL. I SAW A GUY WALK IN, AFTER ATLANTA HAD LOST HIS FILE, 9 MONTHS AGO AND ISSUE HIM A EAD CARD AT ONCE WHEN HE SHOWED THEM HIS RECEIPT NOTICE.

DONT DELAY. I SUSPECT IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS WE MAY START SEEING A BACKLOG OF PLASTIC CARDS.
