I made 2 appointments, one at 8.30 for me and another 8.45 for my wife.(Though this wasn't neccessary, one appointment would have suffice). Due to very bad traffic, I arrived there at 8.45, The guard checked the appt notice, he checked our ids, and sent us through. I had prepared a file for the each of us , with all the required documentation. So, at the first appt window, where they issued numbers, they issued 2 numbers, one for my wife and another for me.
The waiting area was very clean and nice, and the numbers being called were moving very fast. All 10 windows were being worked(surprisingly). The efficiency impressed me for a govt office.
My number was called in about 5 minutes. I asked the clerk, if he could process my wife as well, and he mumbled something. Meanwhile my wifes number was called, so I sent her to her window. The clerk took my courtesy copy, verified my address. Took my I-94, and my photographs. He the stamped my passport. Made me sign in 2 places, and fingerprinted me. He then gave back my passport, and informed me that I would receive my GC with in a year. I was done.
It was 9.00 am. (No APs or EADS were asked from either one of us)
I walked over to my wife window, she was signing her documents. Her clerk handed over the passport. She was done at 9.05.
It took us 20 minutes.
- Parking is very convinient, and is right next to the building.
- Traffic was very bad due to construction on the 215/60/91/10
