No APPOINTMENT --walked in on Wednesday(oct06,2004) at 6.30Am. By 10AM, I am done with Stamping and as others said, they are polite and nice.

But took around 75 minutes for status change in SSN( 10th floor). They are very slow and has only fewer number of counters.

Most of the experiences are covered by other people. However I found the following interesting and might be helpful for others.

a) Around 7Am, officer came by to each person and asked us to show-proof/tell what for you are here?-- I found this interesting because, if something is missing or etcc, you can leave and dont have to waste your time.

b) If you plan to bring food, eat it before security check.
c) If you want to finish off early, be there by 6.30 Am.

Per them, card will take 6 to 12 months.--standard answer.

Again, THANKS A LOT GUYS and GURUS and last but not least is My hearty thanks to MR.Rajiv Khanna for this great site.

Thanks

Kandy:

Congrats and Thanks for sharing your experience. after reading your post I am planning to give it a shot for walk-in coming wednesday. No infopass available for either Newark/Cherry Hill. So I took an appt for 10/15 at Callowhill, PA. Here are my questions.

1. Can I get stamping done at Callowhill Philadelphia office though I live in Princeton area?
2. Since my wife is due in 4 weeks I dont want her to stand in the queue and tire herself at Newark. Is it possibel that on Wednesday I go there at 6am and she can join me later at 7;30 or so?

Please advise.

Thanks

Ans: I am not sure about this answer

2. Since my wife is due in 4 weeks I dont want her to stand in the queue and tire herself at Newark. Is it possibel that on Wednesday I go there at 6am and she can join me later at 7;30 or so?

Ans: Yes your wife can join you 7.30Am, thats not a problem.
If you are planning to go by train, you can ask your wife to be in the DUNKIN DONUTS shop-- which is right across the street of 970 building.

Please advise.

Thanks

Stamping on OCT06,2004.

anybody knows how to get there ( broad avenue newark) by pathtrain??
thanks in advance

sure

Take the city subway to Military park - thats what I did to get to 24 Commerce - I believe the Broad Street office is right there as well - other gurus can help clarify that.

Hope that helps.

Driving is the best way. It is not bad any time of day. I have been there
several times both Commerece street and Broad Street.
For Broad Street take - directions from mapquest.
Once on Broad street - after you pass the building - make right on Green
Street.
Again make right on the next light or T - Mulberry Street (I SUppose).
There is parking on your left behind the building.
No problems at all.

Kandy17,
Congratulations and I am very happy for you buddy!

Is your category is EB2 or EB3 ? Did you do masters or you applied using bachelors with 5 years of experience ? Just curious to know as mine case is still pending and I am really feeling very restless as I have completed more than 2 months after FP2.

Thank you needhelp1
