I have not seen any experiences about this office so I thought I'd type mine.
While a PP stamp is no longer necessary for most people, I am flying out to China for business shortly and there is a good chance that my card will not be in before I leave, so I need the stamp.
There is plenty of public parking in the area, it's a self-pay type parking lot and it only costs $2 to park (and I didn't see a time limit).
I got there at about 10:20 am and only 1 of the 3 windows was opened. You have to go to the same window to get a ticket with a number so you have to wait until the attendant is finished helping the current person before you can ask for a ticket. A less than ideal set up. My ticket was B523 and they were serving B517 at that moment.
There were several families with small children and one couple waiting for an interview. It's a small office. Cell phones are allowed and there is a bathroom in the waiting area. Food and drinks are not allowed.
It took about 30 minutes for them to call my number. I showed my 485 approval letter and my passport, I explained that I needed to travel shortly and that I doubt my card will be in before that. The officer said that my card will probably arrive soon but that she will stamp the passport just in case. She talked very softly and she was very hard to hear. She went away and came back two minutes later and returned my passport and approval letter. She said "your stamp allows you to work and live anywhere in the United States as well as to travel outside and come back in. Your card should arrive shortly."
She never asked for my EAD, AP or passport pictures. No fingerprint was taken since now all of that is part of the biometrics procedure. I believe I'll have to return for biometrics for the card since my prints were taken in November, before the new rapid card production system.
There is a sign that says that the office closes from 12 to 12:30 for lunch. They also say that if they have a lot of people waiting, no more consultation tickets will be given out after 2 pm. There are no infopass appointments at this office, they work on a walk-in basis.
