Stamping experience in LA. Please help.

Hi,

We received our I-485 approval notices from our attorney on friday(May 14). Today morning we went to LA office for stamping,but was told by the security that we need to make an appointment online using INFOPASS.
We tried to make an appointment using infopass, but could not find any option related to green card stamping.Is it necessary to get an appointment for stamping. Please let us know which option to select in the INFOPASS.

Congratulations on the approval. Could you post more details on your case, FP dates/RFE/etc.?

If you search the archives for the past few days, you will probably find something that was posted earlier on the InfoPass

My RD for 485 is Dec 26 2001.
1st FP done in Feb 2002, 2nd FP in Nov 2003, 3rd FP in Dec 2003.
Filed for AC-21 & change of address in August 2003.
We received the RFE in April for EVL,4 most recent pay stubs,3 previous years W2-forms, sent within a week. INS received them on 28th April.
Approved on May 14th 2004.

I tried searching for information about INFOPASS, but could not find it.
