Stamping experience in Atlanta

I went for my PP stamping in Atlanta today. I had an appointment but I did not have the paper approval receipt. When asked for the approval receipt, I explained that I got the email and needed to travel soon. I didnt even have to show the tickets. The whole thing took 30 mins. The stamp however is not what I had expected :) It doesnt even say US anywhere and the A number has been scribbled below the stamp..but other than that :) it was truly an enjoyable experience.
 
You are right, I got my stamping today, and was expecting a stamp similar to H1 visa. It looks so generic with hand written dates and A#.
I'm happy I got it though.
 
What were the documents you took? What all they checked and asked? IT returns, I 94 anything? Please advice.
