Hi All,
First of all thansk to all you guys out there who have always responded to tough questions and have helped each other solve problems. Hats Off to you all. Give yourself a pat on your back - you deserve it.
I Did my 551 stamping TODAY at Newark NJ.
FYI, I had an infopass appointment for 8.30 AM. Reached the bldg at 8.00 am, had to wait till 9.00 am in a WINDY TUNNEL absorbing chilly morning cold!. For early birds, I recommend you wear warm clothing.
Having survived that, went thru security check with my boots beeping the HELL out of the Security Machine! I Was made to stand against the wall and checked thoroughly and all this time my stomach was grumbling to death! The Officer thought I had a Lion cub under my shirt. I dared him to open my shirt, But he let me go!
Next I went to 3rd floor, where I stood in another line for one more hour to get to the counter. At the counter, they took my Index finger FP ( My finger's were lifeless at that point!) and made to sign on I-89 form. then I was given a token no and asked to wait till they called my no.
When my no was called I went to the counter with a big smile only to see LADY HITLER growl back at me! After Curt Pleasantries she took my AP, EAD and 2 Frontal Photographs and asked me to wait again. After sometime she called me again and took my Passport and told me to wait again! Then she called me again - I thought she was going to propose to me as I was not sure why I was singled out for numerous meetings with her!
Finally after watching all serious faces around me for 4 hours & having fought a pitched battle (World War 3) with Lady Hitler, I was delighted to see my Passport stamped!
Guess what, through all this ordeal I survived! & so will you all - Take care my friends - I wish you all the very best and speedy approvals for one's still waiting!
Patience is the virtue!
Once again sincere thanks to all on this forum
