Hi,
I went to the local INS office in Albuquerque,NM for stamping as I moved here 3 months back. They cancelled the old visa and put a rubber stamp of I-551 and put the A# and valid date. The validity is for one year. I thought that the stamping will be same as the machine readable Visa. But not. Did everybody got the same kind of stamp?

An Advice: I remember some one wrote on this forum that we must need the same photographs which used for I-485. This is wrong. The Approval notice clearly says that the photoes must be taken in less than a month.
