Today I have finished the stamping of my passport at Miami/FL. Reached INS office by 7:30 AM and out by 11:15 AM. Process is very normal. My wife's passport also got the stamping.
I did not take my daughter for stamping since the welcome notice clearly says she will get her card by mail. But the INS officer who stamped my passport said people bring their kids for stamping. She asked me to wait some more time and if my daughter did not get the card, she asked me to take her for stamping.
If any body got approved with kids, probably it may be a good idea to take them for stamping along with them.
If anybody got their kids plastic card by mail(without getting stamped their passport) can provide more info.
Thought of sharing this info with you all. All the people waiting for their turn will be approved soon.
