Stamping at Toronto?

1. Hi all. Which is better for stamping, Canada or Mexico? Actually, mine is in Toronto, Canada in the next month.

2. My case is F1-H1B-H1B so I have three I-94 in my hands (never been out of the US for 6 years). One is from F-1 which is expired but two of them from H-1B are still effective. I heard from people that sometimes they might ask you to surrender I-94 when we cross the boarder from US to Canada. Is that true?

3. The original H-1B approval notice means not only the new I-94, right? Since my employer gave me only bottom portion (new I-94 only), I was wondering if I have to ask all of the documents before I go to Toronto for VISA interview.

I will greatly appreciate if anyone can give me some advice on my questions. Thank you and Good luck to everyone.

No you need complete I-797

ACTUALLY YOU NEED THE COMPLETE I-797. That is what letter from Toronto consulate says. The I-94 is only the bottom portion of this.
But I dont have answer to 1st question. If atall Canada border ppl ask for I94 which one to give them- the old F1 one or new H1 One. Thanks

Thanks !

Thank you so much for your info Surti!
I just wonder why people never update after they\'ve gone through their goals. A lot of people ask and discuss about stamping issue without experience but no message talks about "Oh I got it, stuff like". Hope we hear info from people who already or recently gone through it!
