This morning I went for stamping at San Francicsco. I got there at 5.15am and went to the 444 Washington Street entrance. There was an INS official going through the queue and asking people what they were there to get done. He was giving out tickets and instructing various people to get into one of two shorter lines around the side of the building (at 630 Sansome).
One line was appointments, it was the shorter of the two at 630 Sansome. I was not sent to that line. It was queueing from the door towards Market Street. Instead I was given a ticket D401 and sent to the other, slightly longer, line, that was queueing at the other side of the door, in the direction of the ASC on Broadway. Some people got into both lines, without tickets or appointments, and that cost them later on.
At 7am they started letting in people from the appointments line. They let the entire line of appointments in first, and then started letting people from our queue in. We were instructed to go to the waiting room. I got to the waiting room a little after 7:30am. I was processed by 7.40am within 10 mins.
so guys go early. SFO service was great.
