Stamping at Hartford

Undertandably those who are done with stamping will not be visiting this forum regularly.

I tried to search the forum but could not find much useful information.

Is anyone aware of a thread about recent stamping experince at Hartford with regard to -

documents required (approval has a brief list of docs only- if it is advisable to take some extra docs, whta should we carry?)

is it possible to set up an appointment for stamping?

One of my neighbor went for stamping and sent them back telling them they need to come early. That's all I know. This is not the answer to your question but I thought this might help.
 
Alert!!!

A friend of mine(co-worker)went for interview to get his passport stamped in Hartford office last week.The interview went Ok,he was ask to bring in 2 years tax returns and a employment letter signed from our boss saying that he still agree to sponsor him.
The officer said that his case was approved and he was going to stamp his passport,when the officer asked him for one more proof of ID-his drivers license-Guess what?My friend lives and workes in state of connecticut and has a NY state drivers license(he just did not transferred it when he moved,I don't know the reason...)He was told to get the CT State drivers license first and then go back there within 3 months to get his passport stamped!
My mother use to say:

"Don't let things to do tomorrow if you can get them done today!
Tomorrow may be too late!!!"
 
Thanks. My approval letter does not say anything about interview. Also, the list of documents inlcudes only I 94 and approval letter. I wonder if it is implied that everyone will be interviewed prior to passport stamping.

Anyway, I will carry all those documenst with me. Would appreciate if you could check with your friend if he went for interviwe+stamping or only stamping.

Also, did he go early or getting there at 8 am is enough?
 
You need to take with you: Passport, 2 photos (specifications are there in approval Notice), Approval Notice(Original), I - 94/s.

I have no Idea at Hartford, but I am giving my Exp in Houston, TX.
we went to morning 8 AM then we are the queue then we got tokens around 8.20, and it is saying wait time is 1:13 min. then my time came around 10 AM it took me 10 min for each person. After 10 min she stamped in my passport then she said cards will come within 9 months.
