Hi Guys,
Finally I got my Passport Stamped Y'day(Tuesday) in Milwaukee INS...WOW.. What a Feeling...
I reached the Milwaukee INS at 11:40 AM and after Security Check I got the token at 11:48 AM...We had a wait of 1 Hour 45 Minutes before our Number was called.... The IIO was very happy to see that I had everything organized and Clipped... She said it was perfect and it wont take more than 5 min for the other process to get finished for me as well as my wife...Actually it took exactly 5 min for the process to get complete....First she took my fingerprinting, then signature and then stamped my passport...In the meantime she gave my wife to fill the form and when it was my wife's turn i filled the form and that is it....Things went fine and now i am a free bird...
Guys, Please make sure you have the required docs organized before going to INS...It makes it fast and the IIO also feels happy about it...This is how I Had my documents organized:
* Approval (Coutesy Copy) and 2 ADIT Photos (with my alien # and Name written) Clipped together
* EAD Cards and AP Clipped Together
*Kept Passport on top and had a Binder Clip hold all the docs as One
I did the same thing for my wife too.
This makes it easy and fast...I watched two other folks who did not have it organized and the IIO asked for all the required docs one by one and she made him sit for 15 min before calling him again...This is because she had to get the documents and figure out whether all the required docs are their or not...
Finally to my surprise I watched so many people go to INS for Complainning about they have been cheated and other Non INS related stuff due to their ignorance...The IIO has to explain to them that they need to Call Police instead of reporting to INS....
To be frank I was pissed off seeing so many people with the tokens in hand had NON INS related Issues...The IIO explains to them to go to appropriate places and this makes a lot of our waiting time....
ALL THE BEST GUYS....
