Stamped GC on Good Friday

Folks,

 Today 03/29 Friday, I got my GC stamped at Newark INS. It was all done in 2 1/2 hours. First stood in a line for appointments, after going inside the security asked me to fall in the general enquiry line. So I had to go out of the building and stand in the regular line. Then got a token and went upto the 10th floor, waited for 1 1/2 hours. The token number showed up on the display. The lady took my finger prints, signature, EAD , AP, I-485 approval notice. Put them all in a cover. Then she asked for my passport. She stamped the passport and gave it back to me. That is the end of the story. :)

Ilovegc, Congrats for getting stamped.
By the way, i thought that at Newark INS you can go only on Wednesday for stamping. Was "Friday" mentioned in your approval notice.
Please give the details. Also, what time did you go to Newark. As I got approved yesterday, i would appreciate if you can give more details on your experience at INS Newark. Also is Advance Parole document necessary(if applied) for Stamping.

what are the photo requirements for pp stamping? straight faced or side faced photos?

My answers

The photos are the same as the ones used for EAD.
My approval notice mentioned Wednesday 8 to 12 noon, but I went on a Friday.
I took courtesy copy and that is sufficient.
You have to return any EAD or advance parole originals which you recieved from the INS.
