Last year in October 2002, my passport was stamped after my green card was approved.
I received RFE this year, so I have not received my card yet.
My stamping date on my passport will expire on October 15th 2003.
Is there any form I have to fill up and take it to my local INS office?
Can I just walk-in at the Local INS office stating I want to stamp my passport without any prior appointment from INS?
How much is the fees for applying for this kind of request?
I read in this forum, someone mentioning one has to go to local INS one month prior the expiration date. Since I read this forum today, already the date has passed. What should I do?
I am working, so will this affect my work status?
If I do not re-stamp my passport and wait for my service center to mail my green card, then do I have to discontinue my work?
I will be mailing form no. G-731N (Inquiry About Status of I-551 Permanent Registration Card) to my service center.
