1. I was wondering about the exact process involved in the Visa revalidation stage (after the adjudication of I-129). What goes on @ St. L & then at DC? Could someone give me some info or link where I can understand the process?

2. What is the best method to get the Visa revalidation, considering the fact that the present Visa expires Sept,2003.

Visa Revalidation Process in US

There is no website to understand the process for visa revalidation. If you want to revalidate inside US, You need to send to St.Louis first. They will short listed and pre-checked all the nessasary documents and fees. They will send to DC for processing.

Starting point is St.Louis
Ending Point is DC.

Now a days it takes 3 months ( 12 weeks ) to get the PP.

We came to know this processing by experience.

If you don't have any emergency visit to your home country for 3 more months. You can apply with in US. Otherwise apply on aborad (Home country, Canada, Mexico,etc)

Further do you have info. about the following:

1. The current processing time @ St. L.
2. The current processing times @ Canada/Mexico.
3. Would there be a problem for travel to Canada/Mexico for revalidation after the current Visa expires!!!
