I never changed my SS card to an unrestricted one, is there any risk involved in doing this? What for do I need an unrestricted one?

It is to.. So u dont have to apply for EAD on annual basis

There is no risk involved. You have to spend some time in the local SSA office to apply. Then takes about 10 days to get the new card.

And yes - $100 (or whatever is now the price) wasted for EAD card, can go to your pocket.

Don't sponsor BCIS - they already have money from our taxes.
