Srini123 : I saw your posting and as I understand your wife\'s EAD application has been approved with the following details :
RD : APR 16, ND : May 2 , EAC-01-166-

Did your wife apply through lawyer or herself ? I believe your I-485 has already been approved.Congratulations !

I am asking these question because I filed for EAD almost at the same time as you have. My EAD case details :
RD : APR 16, ND : May 2 , EAC-01-166-5xxxx AVM still says ..your application for I-765 has been received on May 2, 2001 and it is taking between ...... ( you got the message)

Please provide the details so that I can track my application and get some idea.

Thanks much for your wishes...

My wife\'s EAD application was sent out by me...the attorney,
wasn\'t involved...and VSC sent us the Receipt Notice.

Actually, I also applied for EAD for the first time along with my wife (I am the primary applicant). But my 485 got approved, even
before VSC got to my EAD application...I also have the same RD,ND
as my wife...(EAC 01-166-5xxxx)...when I checked the AVM last night, it said that my wife\'s application was approved and it would take
60-90 days for the card to arrive...but, when I entered my EAC number, it was the same old message \'your I-765 application was
received on blah blah\'...no update...I was expecting it to say that
the case was denied (since I got my 485 approval)...

I guess your case(EAD), and mine are with the same officer...let me know when yours gets approved...would appreciate that...will let
you know any developments from my side...

for my EAD extention

RD = ~Apr 18, 2001
ND = ~May 03, 2001

heard about approval on AVM, June 21 2001 - but no plastic yet...

I applied myself directly to VSC

Yes, AVM got updated last night saying that my I-765 EAD got approved and now it is taking 60-90 days for the card to printed .

What is the update on your side ? How long does it take for the actual card to come ?

I am hoping that my I-485 gets approved next month.

I am sure your 485 will get approved within the next few days...

There isn\'t much to report from my side...my AVM didn\'t change...
it\'s still the same (received your application on May 2nd etc.)...
don\'t know how long this EAD card will take to come thru (for my
wife that is)...I am thinking a week to 10 days...am not sure
though...will let you know for sure when it comes...

June 20th...don\'t know how long will it take for the card to
come thru...I am thinking a week to 10 days...

Also, I think one has to wait for the card to arrive before
starting to work...I am sure other folks would be able to
answer this question more definitivley...

Hi Have Fun,

My wife\'s EAD card just arrived...so, it took about 5 days for them(VSC) to send the card...since the AVM updated on June 20th saying that a card has been ordered...certainly not bad whatsoever...

I am sure you will get yours pretty soon...

Pls let us know when u received the EAD card.Im waiting for the EAD with the EAD ND 17/may/01 hoping to get approval
by at least first week of july.
