SR Response(Did anyone get the same Response)

Hi,

I have placed a SR on 06/20/2007 and got the response last week.Here is the SR response from NSC

In processing applications for immigration benefits,the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service is making national security our top priority.USCIS has added secuirty checks to the processing of all applications to help ensure that those who receive immigration benefits have come to join the American people in building a better society and not to do harm to them.But whatever short-term impact these additional cheks will have on processing will not interface with the Administration?s long-term goal of eliminating processing backlogs and meeting a six month processing standard for all immigration benefit applications.The employees of USCIS are commited to address our nation?s security needs while aslo maintaining our country?s openness to those who seek the freedom and opportunity that the united states has to offer.Your application currently undergoing suck cheks.Please allow more time....
They didn't say to wait 6 months like that..

On July 5th I initiated the service request on my case and got a response on July 20th as

We have recently conducted a major backlog reduction effort and requested the allocation of a visa number for thousands of EBI485s.Completion of this process will take approximately 30 days. If you do not receive a notice from this office in 30 days please contact us again.

I really dont understand why they mentioned it very generic.They should have at least said specific to the case
 
On july 21st I received I got response like this-
If you have a pending I-485 filed prior to 7/02/07 (LOOK LIKE A TYPO) it will be processed ASAP. NSC has experienced a large number of cases that needs to be worked. We will endeavour to process all cases as quickly as possible. you should receive a decision or notice of action within 90 days. Employ. preference no. will once again be available in these areas beg. Oct 1, 2001 ( TYPO).
 
How did you get this response to SR?(Snail Mail or email). I opened one June last week & have not heard anything yet.
