SPOUSE's FP / Medical Expiring

Hi,

These are the dates of the I-485 for my wife.
Medical: May 1 2002
RD: May 15 2002
ND: May 16 2002
FP: July 31 2002

Now her medical and FP will expire about the same time in October 2003. By the same time her file will open for approval and I know that the INS will issue her a request for new FP and new Medical, which will delay her processing.

Can we get her medical and FP done now and get it submitted to the INS, so that the new FP and Medical will be valid till next year and there will be no issue when my wife's file opens, anytime before next year...?

Advise is really appreciated..thanks in advance

Two things..

1. BCIS is unpredicatable., and the case might be approved b4 FP/Med Expiry.

2. It's not in our control to re-do the FP's.

So do hang in here.., and hope approval comes fast.

i was going thru normal operating procedure for I-485 over this weekend and i did not find anything that says that medical is validfor some period of time. it only mentions that medical should be done no more than one year before I-485 submission.

FP, however, is valid for 15 months.

Thanks for the input...

I checked with my lawyer and she was of the same opinion that BCIS is unpredicatable. Hope they process it fast and I donot have to go through the redoing process.
