Spouses file two I485 cases??

Hi, guys, first of all, happy new year and may everybody's wishes come true next year! :) OK, I have one question regarding spouses filing I485 cases --

My husband filed his I485 earlier this year and I'm his dependent in this application. Now I'm able to file my own I485, can I claim him as my dependent? This way, we're both primary and dependent applicants at the same time. Will two cases conflict w/ each other? Thanks a lot in advance.
 
I think....may be you guys could asl try ....transferring your existing 485 petitions to the new application of I140...or so...

USCIS pretty much is smart that way...it just lets them re-use the old 485 petitions in most cases....so, I would really doubt applying separte I485 may be any beneficial!!
 
Well, I thought filing two I485

will kinda give us double security or something. In case one of our cases is cancelled(e.x My company cancel it for some reason), we'll still have the other one.
