Spouses EAD approved ... labor certificate question

My spouses EAD was approved a few days back. My EAD approval is still pending.
Mine is a substitute labor. I fear that the company that filed my I140/I485 has used a photocopy labor certificate ... meaning they did not file the original labor certificate along with the I140.

Question: If this was the case, would my spouses EAD have been approved or has the EAD got nothing to do with the labor certificate.

Please help me clear my confusion.

EAD issual does not depend on an original labor certification submission.

My case is similar.I am also filed on the basis of Pre-approved labor.Unfortunately the original copy of the labor Certification is lost and we have applied on the basis of a Photo copy(along with communication with DOL about the lost Original).

Ensure that your Company has the Original.you will now receive an RFE from the USCIS asking for the Original.If your company has it then well and good , otherwise it is atleast a six-month process to get the original as according to Rules the DOL of labor would issue a Certified copy of the Original only if a official demand is made to it in writing by the USCIS.

It seems like you misunderstood what I said. I said "I FEAR", I am not sure that he used the original labor certificate or the photocopy one.
In short, how do I find out whether he had used the original labor or photocopy labor with the I140 application.
