Spouse's Case Transferred

Hey Friends,

Today my wife's case is transferred to Newark Service Center for interview. My case is already approved on Jan 10th and I already did passport stamping on Jan 31st. No Idea why my wife's case is transferred?

Any had the same experience with prmary approved and dependent transferred?? Please let me know .. and any spouse interview passing candidate .. please let me know the experience...

Can transferred case applicatant travel outside US on AP. Me and wife is travelling to India next month .. I will use passport stamp and my wife is use AP.
 
it is just formality. From what I heard from the forum, your spouse needs to demonstrate that you and your spouse are really married (such as photos, any bills showing both your name and your spouse's name, bank statements, apt lease agreement, medical cards, marriage certificate, etc).

If you and your spouse are going to India next month, you have to make sure to ask your friends to look after your postal mails or you have to come back soon because your spouse may get an interview notice. Good to know that your spouse will use her AP. Please make sure she come backs before her AP expires. For you, you would be escorted/asked to the secondary inspection at the airport to verify that you are a U.S. permanent resident after you come back from India and you show your passport stamp to the airport's immigration officer.

Your case just got transferred and it looks like you need to wait atleast 6 months minimum to get your wife's interview as per the present trend.

Yes, you need to go along with your wife for interview since you are the primary applicant and 485 is based on your documents.. It never hurts to go along with your wife one day, even though they are sometimes lot of pain. :) Just Kidding..Wish you Good Luck!!
