Just to let you know that after 6 months' waiting (after mine was approved), my wife's 485 was approved few days ago.

Mine was approved on 10/16 and I got the card on 10/19. Hers kept pending and the reason was (of course) security check.

Her case's previous last update date was 10/01/06 and after 6 months' waiting, the new last update was 03/29/07 for 485 approval and then 04/04 saying the card has been mailed out.

I was a bit surprised that she doesn't need to redo biometrics. According to my attorney, the fingerprint is only valid for 15 months. It's been 19months after we did the fingerprint. Anyway, it's good to get the card directly and I am hoping this information helps.

BTW, her case wasn't reloacted to anywhere else. It kept staying in VSC. The receipt date is 8/5/05. We are using world-wide quota.

Hi dannyyin,

Surprised to hear that even after 15 months you have not gone for FP which means that if the service center wants they can waive to applicants whose path is clear (NC is over). I have never heard about this kind of cases.

Enjoy!!!

yes we are surprised too. But we will only be happy and relieved after we get the real card.

WIll keep you posted.

Hi dannyin,

In our case I being primary got LUD in July 2006 (after that nothing) and my spouse was getting LUDs in 485 continuously after I got my EB-1EA I-140 approved. My NC is done. I do not know what is going on at USCIS?
