Spouse with a CP GC packet yet to enter US

My spouse would enter US in a month from now.Both of us got GC approval. She is a dependent having got approved a GC visa thru Consular Processing. She would get the I-551 when she arrives in US. What would happen if I get laid off and then she enters US. Will she be able to get her GC.

I think she will be ok.
