Spouse Visa - H4 Pls help me

I have a question :
 
Right now, she is in India, planning to come to US on April 17 2002 (Return ticket purchased). She already stamped Visa on her passport when I was in my old employer which is valid till Dec 1 2002. She was stayed in US for nine months during 2001. Now she has got H4 approval from New company with I-94.
 
Is she required to apply the visa for coming to US or she can make use of the Visa(which stamped on her passport)? if she needs to apply then they may ask my passport copy with visa stamping of my new employer which i have not yet updated.(?????) Just I sent it for stamping and it may take 3 to 4 months.

First things frist

If your old VISA also valid till Dec 2002, how did you sent to St. Louis for stamping , they will not accept if your old VISA has validity of more then 60 days.

It\'s not necessary for your wife to get stamping of your new VISA. she can come with old VISA. At the port of entry she can show the new H4 approval and have have I-94 according to that.

Please consult your lawyer for final advice.
 
My wife got her h4 revalidated before i got mine done in chennai

There is not requirement that you have to get your h1 revalidated before your wife goes for h4 stamping.
 
How to get your spouse to the USA, if you are on an H1B

I am currently in the US working with a company and have a valid H-1B visa. My fiance is in Dubai, UAE. We both are Indian citizens and plan to get married in December 2002. Does any one know what is the procedure to get ones spouse to the US?
