Spouse petition interview help

I just received a schedule for an interview with my husband on march 8. USCIS received my application for a green card last dec14. I am wondering if it really takes this fast for the interview to be scheduled because some people say it takes 6-8 months while it took less than 3 months for me to have an interview. I don't even have my EAD yet. My husband is in the military and im wondering if that helped. I am alsovery anxious because of the lack of time to prepare since I'm just new here in the US.

Our I-130 and I-485 for my wife was also accepted by the service on December 14th. We mailed it on December 11th to Chicago. We received an interview notice about a week ago for March 3rd in Baltimore.

The reasons we got interview letters so fast could be we included the required documentation with our applications and it is pretty much a straight forward case (HOWEVER, bring to the interview what the checklist recommends), and there could be a short wait list of pending cases in our district offices.
