spouse of US citizen how long it would take for 485 cleared?

Hello Gurus,
I am spouse of US citizen now. I filed my GC thru my employer. My I-140 was cleared on August 2001. I am filing my 485 in another 2 weeks or so . If I apply now, how long it would take for getting EAD and actual green card?
Is it advisable to Apply 485 thru my spouse now ?
