It depends on which service center you applied and other factors. For me it took about one and a half years in VSC. But I saw others taking more than 2 years. There is no trend on this one. it really does not matter if I-130 is approved or not until the visa availability.
As per new memo published by CIS, they will not adjuricate your I-130, untill your Visa(Priority) dates become current. According to memo they will start processing dates, six months b4 the priority dates become current.
