Spouse has GC..wat i shuld to do to file for my GC

Hi,
I'm getting married in next couple of weeks in India.I'm in US from last 5 1/2 yrs on valid H1B and my fiancee has already GC here in US. My final H1B expiration is in Dec 2005(this year).
I'm trying to get amendment to a Labor application (which was filed originially in March 2004-EB2 ) thro' my present employer but not sure whether i will get amendment or not. So that i can think of getting my 7th yr H1 extension.
Now if i hv to use my wife GC to file for mine, what is the procedure i have to follow, so that i won't go out of status here or continue living in this country??

Can anybody suggest me the steps required to do this? Your help will be highly appreciated.

If you have tried to search for this info on this forum you would have easily find it. I have answered this questions so many times. But still I will reply you.
Your GC holder wife can only fille I 130 for you rightnow. Which won't give you any status. You will have to maintain your status till you get your I 130 approved and visa number becomes available to you which can take 5 years or till your wife become a USC and you file for your Adjustment of Status.
So basically you will have to maintain your status rightnow.
How long time does she have till she can apply for Citizenship?
