Spouse got FP notice

Our 485 was filed on Aug16th 2002. yesterday in a mail from my attorney we received FP notice for my wife only. I'm still waiting for mine. Is this normal? Can I call INS requesting for mine?? Can i go with her for my FP also without notice??

hi there,
it is fairly usual at the moment for FP's to be issued separately- happened to me and my husband too. He is the primary- I am derivative- I got FP notice first. OUrs arrived within two days of each other, but I know other posters have beenn longer apart. Depending on where you are, you may be lucky to get your FP's done too. We did this in Charlotte and were lucky.

we did not get any LUD for the fingerprint notices- I am hoping we will get some when they recieve the FP's, but who knows???
 
I did not have any LUD change when I got the FP notice(s) (received two notices with the same scheduled date) but my LUD and message changed yesterday after they received the Fingerprints (gave early FP at Charlotte on 12/11/04 and received the message on 12/16/04)
 
Early FP

What does early fp mean?? Is it if we have FP notice, you can go anytime for FP before that?? Do we have to call them to schedule?? My wife's FP notice date is 01/21/05 at West Palm Beach, Florida.
 
you can try going for FP before Your Date

Many have done that, so go and try. i will also try this week
