Hello Gurus,
I need your help with my husband's case.
He filed his 485 a month ago for "follow to join" of my approved 485.
After a month, we did not recieve anything, and called the emergency number.
And we were told that the case was rejected immediately, because the filing fee has increased to around $400, and the check we wrote was around $285 or something like that. And the representative also said that we need to refile.
What I don't understand is:
1. 485 needs medical exam in a sealed envelop. can we reuse the one we sent?
2. I suppose they will NOT return the material to us, any chance we can send them anohter check, and re-instate the application without "re applying".
3. and filing fee number we got was from USCIS website. how can they do this to us? any way we can appeal or complain?
