Does anybody know what is the process for applying for a fee bill for the spouse?

What does the NVC need for issuing the fee bill?

Does the spouse get a different case number?
 
Normally if your spouse is included on your CP papers then they should send you / lawyers two fee bills and then you make $335 x 2 payment to St Louis. If NVC has sent only 1 fee bill then call them and have them send another one for your spouse and follow the same steps you did for your fee bill payment.

If spouse is derivative applicant then there is only one case number (BMB/ MDR/ NWD) as the primary applicant. the two applicants share the case number!
 
My lawyer says that he has requested the NVC. Is there a way to confirm from NVC whether it was sent to them or recd. by them?

Would NVC update the message that the immi. visa fee bill was generated on such-and-such new date? It still says the date on which my fee bill was generated.
