I am a green card holder. Is there any issue if my spouse enters the US on a tourist visa. Is it ok that she tells the immigration officer that she is here to visit her spouse (that is me) and request the officer for a stay of 4-6 months. Is there any issue with that. We were married in India and she does have tourist visa. Also, in that case can she apply to change status to F1 while in US.
