Spouse affidavit of support question

My wonderful husband filed for my green card in January 2015. We did not get a lawyer because we felt like we didn't really need to spend the money so we did a consultation with a lawyer, scoured the internet and youtube and filed on our own looool. However we are stumped on this affidavit of support thing.
*We submitted his tax returns from 2010-2013, in all he made over $20000 for each year.
-He had not yet filed 2014 tax so we did not include it in our app however we included his pay stubs for the recent 6 months like they asked (june 2014-december 2014).
*When he finally filed taxes for 2014, it turned out he earned $18000 and some change because he was doing some training at his job for 1 month and was not paid for the training.
- My husband is a tower and he gets 40% when he does a job so we really never know what he will bring home.
We have almost all the paper work in order (never got RFE when we filed) but this affidavit stuff has been keeping me up. Please tell me what we should do before this interview so we won't have any issue there. Is there even an issue??

- I got an EAD but so far haven't been able to get a job (very closed to landing one though……going through pre employment verification). I babysit part time cash pay to support him/our household but he is responsible and works hard. Thanks to those who reply. PS interview is this July 24.

I think you have nothing to worry about. If at the interview they ask you you would explain. Past years trend is enough evidence.
