Spouse 2nd EAD Approval & I-485 Question. Please Reply.

My spouse's 2nd EAD has been approved today (per online status)

EAD RD: Oct 21, 2003 (applied at VSC)
EAD ND: Oct 22, 2003
EAD AD: Jan 26, 2004

Question:
I am a permanent resident. We got married in Nov 2002 & applied I-485 in December 2002 for my spouse before my 485 was approved in Feb 2003. Waiting for my spouse's I-485 approval. Do you think my spouse will have an interview? My spouse is derivative applicant and has a straightforward case. I was a primary applicant based on employment category (I had an interview in Baltimore and it was successful).

I haven't seen any derivative applicant's interview, when the primary applicant has already been approved. Your spouse should get a direct approval without an interview, but..................you can never predict USCIS.
